EXPERIMENTS

Alisha and Kyle both enjoy exploring new ways to approach their respective work at Arbor Farmstead. In Fall 2017, Alisha and members of a UVM Food Waste to Value course experimented composting Grand Isle School food scraps to heat low tunnels. Kyle has taken on a variety of challenging custom projects that require creativity, engineering, and patience.

In addition to their individual areas of interest, they are a host site for other research projects, such as for native bee research
